Dear Community Members and Businesses,

I hope this letter find you well and the past few years of struggle due to Covid has not caused an abundant strain. My name is Brandy Gunter, I am just a small town philanthropist who seeks to continuously help benefit the local community and beyond. My latest passion project is implementing a yearly fundraiser to benefit the local Kershaw County homeless shelter Food for the Soul. I hope that you will join me in making this event a success now and into the future.

Food for the Soul is a Christ-like ministry providing food and shelter for those in need in Kershaw County. Providing a safe environment, meals, shelter for those in need as well as providing additional assistance to encourage and support those who seek to become self-sufficient through partnerships and other community agencies.

On March 23rd 2023, we Ride for the Soul. The event is a charity motorcycle ride that will make a trip around Kershaw County. This will be a hi/lo bingo ball pull. Each stop will have participants draw a ball and at the last stop the amounts are tallied and a winner with the highest score and lowest, will win a prize. The event will also have small raffles, depending on donations and gifts.
